Please become a Friend of Fairlynch
For almost half a century Fairlynch Museum and Arts Centre, one of Budleigh Salterton’s most famous landmarks, has been displaying and conserving the precious memories and artefacts which make the town and surrounding area so special.
Last year Fairlynch welcomed over 7,000 visitors, thereby making a significant contribution to the local economy. However it is run entirely by volunteers, and receives no funding apart from donations. In 2013 it cost £16,000 to keep the museum open, whilst the income was only £10,500. It therefore runs at a financial loss and needs all the help it can get.
If you love and cherish Budleigh Salterton and the surrounding villages of the beautiful Lower Otter Valley we believe that you will want to play a part by providing some of this help. By becoming a Friend of Fairlynch you will support our Museum, which plays such a vital role in educating future generations about the history of the area.

Benefactors and Corporate Friends
If you are involved in running a business you may like to consider offering much needed financial help to Fairlynch, or becoming a Corporate Friend.
Our Corporate Friends, of whom a list is prominently displayed in the Museum, are welcome to use the building and garden for their events; our publicity officer would be keen to take every opportunity to promote your business in consultation with you.
